Hello Eva, Watching your videos were both interesting and encouraging for a first. It offerred me, some rare insights. I am very. very sad that I have Malasma in the like of a butterfly. The pigmentation/hyper pigmentation is in the forehead area, eye , cheeks, upper lip and chin.
I consulted a dermatologist, recently n was prescribed Floxia for topical application n Pyrocare White for oral consumption in the last three months. I was rather disappointed that the improvement was almost nil to negligible.
However, the doctor did tell me it has gone to the dermal level, hence quite stubborn. He suggested laser which I am not keen for more reasons than one. I also use Cetaphil for my skincare, sunblock included.
I am eager Eva, to hear your advice n recommendations for me in reference to Arbutin n AHA Mandelic Acid. Thank You very much, I hope a suitable remedy awaits me for my pigmentation.

      Regards,
      Chrisilda

        Hi, Anoushka:

While you are under the care of a dermatologist do not use any other products (not mine, or others). You may cause a bigger problem because ingredients in one cream or medication may counter act with another ingredient in another product or medication and you can cause irritation or even darkening of the skin. Once you are off of all the medications or products prescribed by your dermatologist for a couple of months, then you can explore other products. But again, use only products from one company or product line.. because if you mix up products the same thing I wrote about above may occur. Take care, Eva.

I watched your video about lightening ankles and I was wondering if I could just get the Mandelic acid and lotion instead of buying the first kit. I am middleeastern so I scar easily and I’m left with horrible dark spots on my ankles and toes.

    • SkinRenewalMethod says:

You really should purchase the starter kit. Because it’s best that you cleanse the skin first, then tone it, and on days which you don’t use the AHA Mandelic Acid,, you use the AHA moisturizer. You don’t have too, but it’s best if you do. And it’s not the lotion as you write, it’s the AHA Mandelic Acid Level 1 product (it’s liquid not a lotion). — Eva.

Additionally, here is why the cleanser and toner should be used first with the AHA Mandelic Acid Level 1 starter kit: http://youtu.be/kxZVM-PVtiI

Hi Eva! I saw your videos and I could honestly use your help. I’m a black women and I have a serious problem with my private part, it’s been going on for years. Since I started shaving I’de always get bumps and black spots after a while of shaving, sometimes I even get white heads. At first I thought maybe it was the razer that I used or maybe that i shave to hard, so I changed it but still got the same results . I even went to see my doctor about it and he gave a some treatment but nothing changed. And I have the same problem with my underarms as well.
I hope sincerely hope you can help me.

Hi Eva, I’ve been watching alot of your YouTube videos on African American skin on acne and hyperpigmentation. I’ve been trying to figure out if Mandelic Acid would be good for my skin. I am African American female with acne prone combination and hyperpigmented skin. Of course I’ve tried all kinds of different products and have even spent hundreds of dollars on monthly some times weekly facials but nothing seems to fully work. The acne always comes back in the same areas and I’m starting to have even more discoloration. So I would like to know what products would you recommend? I’ve been reading about the mandelic acid level 1 starter kit. But I’m not sure if that’s the route I should go. I definitely need help!

    • SkinRenewalMethod says:

      Hi, Ebony:

It will be my pleasure to advise you. The underlying issue causing your acne may be the factor in you getting persistent breakouts. It’s quite difficult for me to advise you without seeing pictures of your skin. I suggest you email me to MedSpa33154(at)Gmail(dot)com. This way I can give you advice privately. Best of health to you! — Eva.

Hi Eva, Thank you for all of your Youtube videos. I have dark skin and I am currently receiving vaginal laser hair removal with the Cool Glide Laser. I have scarring and discoloration that I want corrected. I just finished my third session and the technician said that she doesn’t want to use anything too strong on the skin to prevent damage. Do you still recommend that I use the Mini Eva Home Clinical Lightening Treatment or should I wait until all of my laser sessions have been completed? Thank you!
