Can AHA Mandelic Acid Lighten Underarms in Ethnic Women

Today’s skin care segment is courtesy of Skin Renewal Method. We’re covering the topic of how mandelic acid can help to lighten or even out dark overtones (especially in the underarms) specific in ethnic or black skin. We’ve formulated our AHA Mandelic Acid product line specifically to safely lighten ethnic skin. If you have a question for Eva? Please feel free to ask below in the comment section.

    Hi Eva,

I came across your videos and website from youtube. I was wondering if I should order the Mandelic Acid level 1 with the neutralizer for my dark underarms or do I need to order the whole product line? I am not in Miami like I would’ve came to you for laser hair removal for my underarms.

      Jennifer,

First, I would like to thank you for your interest in my product line. If I may suggest that you please order the entire Level 1 line: Simply because you have to prep the skin first. That is cleanse it, and use the toner– this preps the skin for the AHA Mandelic Acid. You can actually use the entire line on your face too, if you so chose. Once the 21 days are up, you may be able to just order the AHA Mandelic Acid Line 2. You have to get the skin used to the treatment, and do so progressively. Once you purchase the product, then I’d like you to email me, and I will be happy to guide you step-by-step on how to use the product for your underams. Thanks again, and wishing you a happy and healthy 2014. — Eva.

Hi! I love your videos! I have suffer dark under arms and pubic area (anus too) all my life. I do not wear tank tops nor swim suits because I am embarrassed. I’m hispanic (brown skin). I was wondering if the Line 1 of the AHA Mandelic Acid would also work in the pubic area and perianal area? Or what would your recommendation be for this? (Ex. this product for underarm and another one for the other parts). I must add that I do shave those areas completely, I tried waxing my underarms and it was too painful and I am too shy to do the Brazilian wax. Thank you!!

Also, I forgot What is the difference between Arbutin and the Mandalic acid? Should I just use Arbutin since it can be use in these parts?

      • SkinRenewalMethod says:

Hi Alejandra: So first, thank you for watching my videos and for your interest. I think this vlog I made will clearly explain the difference between Arbutin & AHA Mandelic Acid. Here’s the link: http://youtu.be/vmhNC1BUQFA. Now for the areas you describe, the AHA Mandelic Acid is the way to go, BUT, you should ONLY use it around the anus or on the outer lips and outside the vagina, not on the inside of any orifices! I hope this clarifies it for you. Wishing you a great weekend! — Eva.

Hello Eva, Greetings! from Malaysia. I enjoyed your videos thoroughly. But, sadly for me, I have Malasma, hyper pigmentation ( butterfly) in the forehead area, eye, cheek, upper lip and chin. I have also been on a dermatologist recommended prescription in the last two months. I use Floxia for topical application n Pynocare White for oral consumption. I use Cctaphil for my skin care. However, much to my disappointment the improvement may be rated as negligible to nil.
I would now like to explore the use of your Skin Renewal Lightening with Arbuttin n Mandelic acid. Hence, I look forward to your advice on the prospect for cure of my Malasma. Thank You very much n await your note.

        Kind Regards,
        Chrisilda

While you are under the care of a dermatologist do not use any other products (not mine, or others). You may cause a bigger problem because ingredients in one cream or medication may counter act with another ingredient in another product or medication and you can cause irritation or even darkening of the skin. Once you are off of all the medications or products prescribed by your dermatologist for a couple of months, then you can explore other products. But again, use only products from one company or product line.. because if you mix up products the same thing I wrote about above may occur. Take care, Eva.

    Hi Eva,
I have been watching your videos and i love it. Very educational and professional.
I am medium olive complexion and I would like to know if you have the whole kit for vagina/anus/body lightning instead of just buying it indivual.

Thank you in advanced for your time

I have dark shadow on side of mouth and dark armpit. What can I do?

    • SkinRenewalMethod says:

I am unable to advise you about the dark shadows on the side of your mouth without seeing you; but – try using coconut butter if the skin is sensitive. It should help soothe the skin. As for dark armpits – you should watch the next couple of videos, which will be quite helpful to you ( even though the demo is on a woman – the same applies to you).
